The Morton Arboretum is a museum of trees in the Chicagoland area that attracts visitors from around the world.
It is truly one of the most gorgeous places in the state. Home to 1,700 acres and more than 4,000 species of plants, the grounds of this wonderful place are immaculate.
And there's a little something extra hiding on the grounds this summer...
The newest additions to this incredible place are six gigantic wooden trolls that seem to be engaging in all sorts of activities. They stand 15-60 feet tall and can be found all throughout the grounds.
The trolls resemble characters from European folklore. They are mythical creatures who were created to serve as protectors of the environment.
