One of our favorites is Ross Falls, one of the most underrated waterfalls in Idaho. To reach this beautiful waterfall, you must conquer a short hiking trail that is almost like it came out of a fairy tale. It’s one hiking trail in Idaho that you will regret not exploring.
The Ross Falls Trail can be found in southern Idaho, south of the small town of Hansen and in the South Hills. You can find the trailhead off of Rock Creek Road, north of the Magic Mountain Ski Area.
Ross Falls is one of the most kid-friendly waterfalls hikes in Idaho. It is a 0.4-mile, out-and-back trail, making it the perfect distance for even young children.
The trail is well maintained and easy to follow. It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon outdoors.
