Southwest Georgia is an area that tends to get overlooked by tourists, but this is a beautiful region filled with Spanish moss-draped trees and quiet country roads.

You'll find plenty of both within the sprawling acreage of Reed Bingham State Park.

The park has a stunning landscape that makes you just want to kick back and relax.

Reed Bingham is home to a few easy trails that provide beautiful scenery.

The bog and marsh setting makes this a unique hike that's tough to find in the northern parts of the state.

This is a great area for camping, and in addition to pioneer campsites, you'll find nearly 50 tent or RV sites available for rent.

The centerpiece of the park is the 375-acre Reed Bingham Lake, a wonderful area for fishing, especially if you're seeking bass or crappie.

Both kayaks and canoes are available for rent at the park if you don't have your own boat.

Whether you're looking to camp for a weekend or just enjoy an afternoon out in nature, this enchanting park in South Georgia is the perfect place to get out and savor the beauty that's all around us.
