Dukes Creek Trail is a 2.3-mile out-and-back trail tucked away in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest near Helen, Georgia.

What's wonderful about this trail is that it's appropriate for all skill levels, so be sure to bring the whole family. There's even an ADA-approved paved trail that leads to the first observation deck overlooking Davis Creek Falls.

This hike is also dog-friendly, but be sure to keep your four-legged friends on a leash while on the trail.

After the first set of falls, the trail will continue through a beautiful hardwood forest following an old roadbed.

Winding your way down the ravine through a series of switchbacks, you'll enjoy the sounds of the rushing creek and waterfalls.

The major waterfalls are easy to spot thanks to the wooden platforms, observation decks, and benches set up nearby. If you have a picnic lunch, you'll find plenty of places to sit and soak in the views.
