Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Florida is a 60-acre botanical garden and wildlife sanctuary that everyone should spend the day visiting.
Established in 1927, Flamingo Gardens is actually one of the oldest botanical gardens in South Florida!
There are so many fascinating aspects to this garden, from the18 “Champion” orange trees to the 200-year-old Live Oaks at the centerpiece of it all.
In and around the various gardens you’ll find various species that are part of the Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary from native birds to iguanas, alligators, eagles, otters, and more!
Of course, Flamingo Gardens wouldn’t be complete without their very own flamingos!
