Go On A Realistic Safari As You Make Your Way Through Kilimanjaro Safaris In Florida

Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Florida offers a realistic safari experience with free-roaming exotic animals.

You’re probably not expecting to find too many realistic safaris in Florida that rival what you’ll find in the African plains. But there is one option for a truly realistic experience right in the heart of Orlando. Kilimanjaro Safaris in Florida is a tour located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park that allows visitors to see live, exotic animals roam free from an open-air safari car. Take a look…

When you visit the Walt Disney World Animal Kingdom, you’ll have access to a wide variety of exotic animals that you likely wouldn’t normally see in Florida.

Part of admission into Animal Kingdom includes an open-air safari tour from Kilimanjaro Safaris.

When you enter the Harambe Wildlife Preserve, you’ll be able to ride a simulated open-sided safari ride along the savanna of East Africa.

The animals along the Kilimanjaro Safari ride all reside in a free-roaming space, just as realistic as an actual African safari.

The type of animals you’ll see along this safari include cheetahs, antelopes, elephants, flamingos, hippos, lions, giraffes, and so much more.

Not only will you be able to see rare animals in a simulated natural habitat, but each can come and go and interact freely as they choose within the expanse of the park.

Clocking in at 110-acres of space, the Kilimanjaro Safari is the largest attraction within all of the Disney Parks in terms of area.

Pro-tip, make sure to visit Kilimanjaro Safari either first thing in the morning or around 2 p.m. as it’s said that is when the animals are most active.
