Under four miles total, hikers can take a walk through the wilderness on this well-maintained trail.

There is so much to see here while you’re trekking, from the longleaf pine forest to the seasonal blooms from wildflowers.

The forest is also home to many different slopes and ravines, which end up creating small waterfalls throughout.

Many hikers say that this is the place to be if you want quiet solitude in the middle of nature. You’ll be able to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Mother Earth as you loop through the changing terrain.

Also, anyone who wants to spend the night here can choose to set up a primitive campsite! Just make sure what you bring in you also pack out.

While the trail does remain relatively flat, there are signs throughout that will guide you along the terrain. For instance, about a mile in, you’ll see where Dunn Farm Trail meets up with the Pioneer Trail.

So the next day you have free near Jennings State Forest, head on over to Dunns Farm Trail for a simple hike under the Florida sun.
