Located along the Econfina Creek in Youngstown, this area offers a unique swimming hole experience for adults and kids alike.
The combined flow at Sylvan, which includes Pitt Spring, is considered a second magnitude spring, which is one of 11 along the creek within the area.
But what makes this swimming hole special is that it is very easily accessible. At 10-acres, you’ll find an extensive trail, boardwalk system, tubing drop-in dock, and so much more.
There is even a mile-long connector trail that allows hikers to go from Pitt and Sylvan all the way to Williford Spring.
Bring a few tubes and drop them in on the creek, allowing the consistent coolness of the water to keep you refreshed all day long.
This natural emerald swimming hole is a delightful place for swimming, tubing, canoeing, or just simply basking in the sun for an afternoon.
