Last winter, Delawareans hardly saw any snow, which was a major bummer for anyone looking to build a snowman and a delight for those of us with long driveways. This winter is sure to be a little different, as the state is expected to have a snowy, cold, and wet season! According to the Farmers Almanac, we can look for more snow than usual, with typical chilly temperatures. Bust out that snowblower!

Delaware winter storms are often affected by the coast, which means we're frequently hoping for snow and disappointed by sleet, which causes all sorts of problems.

This year, though, we're part of a region that can expect more snow than usual, along with our typical freezing temperatures and icy wind chills.

According to the Farmers Almanac, Delaware's long-range forecast for the winter includes a few storms that are sure to make kids (and some adults!) happy to play in the powder.
