The Pondside Trail in Killens Pond State Park winds for just under three miles, and it's an easy walk on a mostly paved and level path.
When it's snowy, the trail takes on a completely different appearance, and you might even forget that you're hiking around in Delaware!
Unless we get hit with an unprecendented blizzard, you don't need snowshoes or any special equipment to hike the Pondside Trail in the snow. If you have microspikes, though, they'll give you more traction if the pathway has iced over.
