The Hidden Nature Park In Connecticut With Its Very Own Disc Golf Course, 58-Acre Wooded Area, And So Much More

Loving nature and living in a small state like Connecticut can make you feel a little cramped. We certainly have plenty of beautiful parks all over the state, but their close proximity to one another means it's fairly easy for long-time locals to visit just about every state park in Connecticut. If you're feeling like everyday life is a bit stale and would like to check out a less popular park, look no further than the beautiful Hidden Pond Park in Southbury, CT. This mostly rural town in the Naugatuck Valley is a lovely place for a visit, and Hidden Pond Park is a great green space in this charming community.

The 58-acre park is surprisingly large.

A hiking trail loops around the park and meanders through the park's forests. It doubles as a cross country skiing trail in the wintertime.

The four-acre pond is perfect for relaxing and admiring the natural beauty of this area.

One of the most popular features here is the disc golf course. If you're not familiar with disc golf, it's like a combination of frisbee and golf.

The terrain here is quite flat, and there are benches all around the pond so you have a great place to sit and rest.

If you're looking to stretch your legs and enjoy a bit of tranquility in a peaceful environment, it doesn't get much better than the lovely Hidden Pond Park.
