Empower Adventure Park in South Windsor has all kinds of fun activities that will let you get a bird's eye view from up in the trees. The park is spread out over nine acres of forest, and there are six different obstacle courses to check out. This is a unique experience that's a fantastic team-building exercise for families or groups of friends.

This is a super fun activity for both kids and adults. The trails vary in difficulty, so you don't have to worry about trying something that's beyond your skill level.

Don't feel like you can do the hardest trail, the black one? That's fine, stick with the less challenging ones! The instructors are happy to provide guidance based on your fitness and comfort level.

The guides are great at giving tips and providing encouragement. It's like having a personal squad of cheerleaders.

Between all six trails, there are more than 60 different obstacles to explore here.

The zip lines are, of course, a big hit. The feeling of free-falling over the ground is intoxicating!

Don't worry, you're securely clipped into a harness at all times, so you are never in danger of actually falling.

There are also many rope bridges. The challenge of balancing on wobbly ropes is simultaneously fun and difficult.

Entrance into the park gets you three hours to access the course(s), so have at it!

One of the best parts about completing the courses at Empower Adventure is the views. Seeing everything from such a high vantage point up in the trees is so unique.
