Steamboat Springs may be iconic for skiing and other wintertime activities but thanks to the beautiful Yampa River Botanic Park, it is the place to be during the fall, too!

Opened in 1995, the Yampa River Botanic Park sits on an old horse pasture that was transformed into a 6-acre wonderland comprised of walking paths, gardens, and trees.

While the Yampa River Botanic Park is a must-see any time of year, it becomes even more magic in the fall, when the surrounding trees and shrubs begin changing colors.

Can you imagine strolling through this wonderland of colors on a crisp fall morning? It's like a dream come true!

In addition to walking around the park, you can also attend one of Yampa River's special concerts, which take place every Thursday during the summer.
