Get Your Apple Cider Fix From This Legendary Colorado Orchard And Farm

Fall is in the air, and you know what that means... it is apple season here in Colorado! If you are like Bubba from Forest Gump and have an enthusiasm for a certain kind of food (only instead of shrimp, it's all things apple), you need to visit Colorado's legendary Happy Apple Farm ASAP:

Located in Penrose, the aptly-named Happy Apple Farm is just that - a fun and upbeat farm specializing in all things apples!

Open late August through October, your Happy Apple Farm experience begins with the you-pick apple orchard and other apple favorites via the on-site country store.

Apple cider donuts, apple butter, fresh-pressed apple cider, apple jelly... what more could your taste buds want?

Are pumpkins more your thing? No problem, as the Happy Apple is also home to a large and diverse pumpkin patch.

As if you needed another reason to love this magical place, admission to the Happy Apple Farm is free AND includes complimentary hay rides to and from the apple orchard and pumpkin patch!

In addition to all of the above, this unique farm has a deli, roasts Pueblo chiles, and welcomes pets.

The Happy Apple Farm is open Thursday through Sunday from 9 a.m to 4:30 p.m. until late October.
