Enjoy Fall In Southern Colorado At The Beautiful Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center
The Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center in southern Colorado offers stunning fall foliage and various educational programs.
If you are a lover of all things fall, listen up, as today's feature is just for you! Colorado is known near and far for its stunning landscape and - therefore - beautiful foliage, but did you know that some places are better than others for optimal viewing? One of these places is southern Colorado's very own Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center:
Located in Pueblo County, the Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center is a multi-campus nature preserve and educational center unlike anything else you have visited.
As per the Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center, the mission of the group is to "connect kids and the community with nature, through our various events, camps, and educational programs, at each of our locations," which they do year-round.
During these fall months, there is plenty to see and do around all of the Center's campuses, including guided hikes of the 611 acre Mountain Park in Beulah, a birds of prey program at the Raptor Center in Pueblo, and even a guided visit of the Raptor Center.
In addition to all of the above, Nature & Wildlife also boasts workshops and retreats, a GROW WILD Forest Club, and a challenge course.
Can you imagine strolling these grounds on a cool fall day? So can we!
Admission to each Center is free, but please note that each program does cost an additional fee (with scholarships available).
