The Incredible Farm In Colorado Where You Can Pick Buckets Of Berries

Are you dreaming of a kitchen full of strawberries and raspberries? You can make this dream a reality by going to pick your own berries at Berry Patch Farms in Brighton, Colorado! This farm is simply lovely, and you and your family or other companions will enjoy spending a morning or afternoon filling baskets with berries that are as fresh as berries can possily be. Berry Patch Farms is a USDA certified organic farm that is owned and operated by Tim and Claudia Ferrell. They've been running this farm together since 1991 and the farm has had a pick-your-own component since 1994.

The farm is on 40 acres and it's beautiful land. Visitors can pick strawberries, raspberries, currants, pie cherries, plums, basil, flowers, and pickling cucumbers from June to September. Check in at the front and then you can head out into the field and start picking!

The farm also grows a lot of other edible plants, but the farmers pick those themselves. Their harvest is available in the onsite Barn Store.

Picking berries can be exhausting, but it's so much fun to pick your own. Be sure to bring sunblock, water, bug spray, closed-toed shoes, and a hat to protect you from the sun.

Pets aren't allowed on the property, and if you plan to spend the day at the farm, bring your own lunch. There are picnic tables onsite where you can eat.

It will take quite a while to fill even one container with berries, but you'll find that it's well worth the time and effort to do so.

You'll be happy that you spent the time and energy when you have bowls full of fresh berries at home.

If you're visiting the farm in the springtime, you'll probably want to bring home some pick-your-own flowers, too.

Later in the season, you'll want to pick up some cucumbers to pickle!
