You'll find Sherman Library and Gardens along the Coast Highway. Founded in 1966, it's a beautiful little oasis.

The gardens cover just 2.2 acres, but as you walk through, you'll see a variety of different plants and flowers, arranged in several different gardens.

Check out the colorful succulent garden, which was recently renovated. These plants are suited perfectly to an environment with very little water, and they're quite colorful.

You'll find highlights in each and every garden. Discover new plants, and perhaps get some ideas for your own yard.

The gardens are a wonderful mix of sun and shade. The pretty sun garden includes bits of artwork...

...and the Specimen Shade Garden includes a wonderful garden swing for your enjoyment.

The gardens are dynamic - always changing and improving. Here you can see gardeners hard at work, creating the Formal Knot Garden. You'll definitely want to visit often to see what's new.

The Sherman Library and Gardens is open seven days a week. Visit from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 12-18, and free for children ages 11 and younger.
