The beautiful 4,500-acre lake has 26 miles of shoreline, a small piece of which is included on this 5.9-mile hike. The trail is open year-round - beauty comes in any season here.

Along the trail itself, three spots touch the lake with some of the best scenery in SoCal.

Especially in wildflower season, the angles here are picture-perfect. Make sure you don't step on any poppies when you come through!

In addition to this beautiful trail, the lake is a great area for fishing. While recreational swimming, boating, and skiing are not allowed, the surface of this lake stays calm and perfect for reeling them in.
