LynOaken Farms dates all the way back to 1919 and has been run by the same family for several generations.

U-Pick season at the farm is just beginning, operating from daily from September 1 through November 3, 2019.

The thing that makes this apple orchard so unique though, is the fact that more than 350 different kinds of apples are grown here in its heritage garden!

LynOaken Farms has everything you need to enjoy the perfect fall outing on a local farm, with wagons at the ready for you to fill up with apples.

With so many different kinds of apples growing on the farm, you'll find the trees planted three feet away from each other and only grow to be about eight feet tall.

Each tree is labeled and color-coordinated, with green signifying that the apples are ready to pick, yellow signifying that they're ripening, and red letting you know that they're not ready yet.

As you explore the orchard, you'll see classics like Empire, Fuji, Gala, Golden Delicious, Honeycrisp, McIntosh, and Red Delicious.

As well as other little-known apples and creations they've come up with. In 2009, they unveiled their SweeTango apple - an amazing cross between Honeycrisp and Zeststar apples!

If all of the above wasn't enticing enough, the farm also features favorite fall traditions like wagon rides and fresh cider donuts.

If you're ready to go picking for a mouthwatering array of apples, then it's time you start planning your trip out to LynOaken Farms in Medina.
