Arkansas has 52 state parks, and we all have our favorites. Many of you will perhaps name Petit Jean in your top ten, right? But some of the best state parks are the ones that are lesser known to you. And one such park is Daisy State Park located near Kirby, Arkansas. This underrated state park offers trails that explore the mountain, lake, and river terrain of the Ouachita Foothills. So, it makes it the ideal scenic location to explore.

Tucked on the shores of Lake Greeson is Daisy State Park, a 276-acre scenic recreational area.

It’s a favorite location for campers because there is so much to do.

Due to its secluded location at the foothills of the Ouachitas, it makes this park a perfect place to witness the beauty of the landscape.

You can enjoy kayaking, boating, canoeing, and more on Lake Greeson. The water recreation offers serene views of the lush forestry of the Ouachita foothills.

Also, for additional scenic views of the terrain, you should take advantage of the guided tour on the lake.

Lake Greeson was constructed to dam the Little Missouri River, so you’ll be able to access that waterway as well.
