Most People Don’t Know Arkansas Has A Fairy Trail And It’s Positively Magical

Garvan Woodland Gardens in Arkansas features a whimsical Fairy Village created from tree stumps and found objects.

The Garvan Woodland Gardens are an iconic Arkansas attraction. We love their magnificent light display in winter and the Anthony Chapel gives just about everyone wedding fever. The Gardens have even more to offer than fields of beautiful flowers. Residing in the middle of the Gardens is the most magical little Fairy Village. Let's tiptoe through the tulips and see if we can catch a fairy at this whimsical spot.

We all know the Garvan Woodland Gardens are simply enchanting.

If you've yet to visit, you may not know about the whimsical little village near the Garvan Pavilion.

The Fairy Garden came to life in 2014.

The team of volunteers led by Jerry Lewis dedicated over 2,000 hours of labor in creating the village. Recovered tree stumps from around the Gardens were sculpted into the little houses and businesses intended for fairy use.

As with any good fairy garden, all the sculpted structures are adorned with found objects.

The fairies have a well-established village at the Gardens.

All pixie dust is locally sourced, of course.

To prevent wing-exhaustion, they have a little bridge.

They even have a tiny train.

You wouldn't believe it, the fairies also have their own little Bathhouse Row.

This is Hot Springs, after all.

Most people don't know that the Tooth Fairy is actually an Arkansan.

After a hard magical day, the fairies like to kick it at the Nectar Bar.

The huge amount of love put into the tiny fairy garden is just one more reason to visit Garvan Gardens.

The Gardens are located at 550 Arkridge Road in Hot Springs National Park. They're open from 9 AM - 6 PM.
