Arizona is full of hidden gems, and we're uncovering yet another today. Nestled deep in a vast, rugged canyonland, Kaiser Warm Springs attracts adventurers from all over the state to soak in its alleged healing waters. Take a look:
Just an hour's drive from Kingman, the hike to Kaiser Warm Spring is nestled in the midst of vast desert canyonlands that extend far as the eye can see into the distance.
Monotonous as the landscape may be, the turnoff is impossible to miss: just look for the twin-lane bridge on US 93, about 62 miles northwest of Wickenburg.
There's a parking area on the east side of the bridge, and it offers easy access to the trailhead.
Up ahead, rugged cliffs tickle the clouds and beckon you ever deeper into their clutches.
Although the spring is undeniably the main attraction, there's so much else to see along the way.
How cool is this little cave?
Before too long, you'll reach a manmade pool that contains the warm spring waters.
It's big enough for three people at a time, so wear your bathing suit and get ready to make a splash!
Refreshing as can be, the spring attracts outdoor adventurers from all corners of the state eager to experience its purported healing properties.
You'll leave feeling like a whole new person as the warmth of the natural pool envelops your every sense.
A bit farther down the trail, Burro Creek flows with impressive vigor.
It features three large pools and several white sandy beaches perfect for an afternoon picnic.
One of the best parts of this hike is that it's suitable for all ages and skill levels.
So bring the whole family (pooches, too!) and explore one of Arizona's most underrated hidden gems.
