Stan Stephens Glacier & Wildlife Cruises offers evening cruises on Prince William Sound. These thrilling cruises offer the opportunity to see glaciers, stunning views of the Sound and, with any luck, a wide variety of sea life. Stan Stephens long worked to protect Alaska's coastline and this family run business continues his legacy. Visitors and residents alike will enjoy an evening trip across the waters to view life in Prince William Sound.

Stan and Mary Helen Stephens started offering fishing and hunting charters in 1971 out of Valdez.

From mid-May until mid-September each year they offer cruises in the Prince William Sound. Tours head out of Valdez, Cordova, and Whittier and are between six and nine hours long.

During a cruise, you have the opportunity to see Stellar sea lions on the rocky shores.

Harbor seals sun themselves on the ice floes.

Catch some north Pacific Sea Otters floating, known as the "old men of the sea". When not eating, they float on their backs, grooming and resting.

A humpback whale may breach right beside the boat!

A pod of orcas is likely to swing by.

You will go by different glaciers depending on your cruise. Overcast days at Columbia Glacier create this super blue color in the ice bergs.

You'll never forget an evening cruise in the Prince William Sound with Stan Stephens.
