Most People Don’t Know Alabama Has A Christmas Cave And It’s Truly Unique

From magical light displays and festive parades, to enchanting train rides and spectacular festivals, Alabama most certainly knows how to celebrate Christmas. Several Christmas attractions are located throughout the state that'll fill you with joy, including the cave at Rickwood Caverns State Park. This holiday season, the cave at Rickwood Caverns State Park has been transformed into Santa's Underground Workshop - a colorful light display that's guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit.

Santa's Underground Workshop is open every day through December 23. Hours are from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and the price of admission is $10.00 per person. Children ages 3 and under are free.

Decorated with more than 100,000 twinkling lights, this festive cave fascinates people of all ages. It's truly magical!

The self-guided tour of Santa's Underground Workshop lasts approximately 30 minutes and...

...each room has been uniquely decorated using a certain theme.

Some of the rooms also feature a variety of whimsical figurines.

The main attraction at Santa's Underground Workshop is of course Santa himself. Both children and adults enjoy talking to Jolly Old St. Nick and sharing their Christmas wishes with him.
