This Tiny Mexican Restaurant In Montana Serves Over A Dozen Types Of Tacos
If you’re still under the impression that there is no good Mexican food to be found in Montana, we’re here to inform you that you’re mistaken. From our iconic eateries to our newer
taco trucks, you’ll find fantastic Mexican food in practically every part of the state. And if you’re lucky enough to live in a city with a Taco Del Sol, you owe it to yourself to try every type of taco they offer.
The Montana-born Taco Del Sol has locations in Missoula, Helena, Billings, Hamilton, Great Falls, Kalispell, and Butte.
Despite their multiple locations, this place is every bit the classic neighborhood taco joint. Each one has its own unique flair.
The first location opened in 1997 in Missoula, earning instant popularity.
Even as the chain expanded, it kept its small, neighborhood feel. And the company's expansion has allowed them to be more generous - Taco Del Sol is all about neighborly love and hosts uplifting charitable events throughout the year.
The menu consists of all the classics, from huge burritos to the delectable and formidable nachos...
...but it's the wide variety of tacos that really put this place on the map.
The tacos here are absolutely scrumptious, and you'll have plenty of options to choose from.
First, choose between a crispy corn shell, a soft flour shell, or a soft flour exterior.
Then choose your meat, or decide to go veggie.
Taco Del Sol's specialty tacos, like the Alaskan cod fish taco and the savory steak taco, are exceptionally delicious.
And while their other food is also fantastic, no one will judge you if you simply wish to fill up on a dozen tantalizing tacos.
This delightful taco shop is open daily, although hours may vary by location.
And it's always Taco Tuesday here!
Have you tried every type of taco at
