Pie Guys Pizzeria Has Invented The Official Montana-Style Pizza

Pie Guys is located at 3189 King Avenue West in Billings, where it is owned and operated by two Montana guys with a passion for good pizza.

Founders Evan Joda and Steven Nicol are a couple of locals who worked their way up the chain at several local pizza joints before deciding to open their own.

Montana is full of great places to enjoy some pizza, especially Billings -- but this place definitely stands out in the crowd.

Not only do locals choose it over chain restaurants time and time again, but travelers passing through Billings take a chance on Pie Guys and leave rave reviews.

So... what makes Pie Guys different? As with many a pizzeria, it starts with the dough.

They use an all-natural sourdough starter and never use instant yeast.

Montana is capable of growing every ingredient to make a delicious pizza, and this place proves it.

Pie Guys uses Montana-made ingredients such as Redneck Sausage (based out of Kalispell) and Wheat Montana Flour.

The result of all of these efforts is fresh, perfectly-prepared pizza that is downright addictive.

The menu here is also fairly small, and that's no accident. It allows the team to focus solely on the quality of the pizza.

While pizza is definitely the main attraction here, you'll want to save room for some sides if you can.

The wings are phenomenal, and they also serve a variety of creative breadsticks ("Styx"), including Nacho Styx and Pesto Styx.
