The concept of a “mild winter” in Montana is pretty laughable. While some areas definitely seem to get hit worse than others (like poor Cooke City), there’s not one county that’s exempt from winter weather — in fact, some regions have already seen snow.

But according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, this year’s winter in the Treasure State shouldn’t be too bad, at least compared to winters of the past.
