9 Places In Montana Where You Can Get Burgers The Size Of Your Head
We definitely love our burger joints here in Montana, and there are certainly no shortage of tasty options. And when you’re looking for an extra-large juicy burger to sink your teeth into, just head to one of these spots.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here:
1. Parkers' Restaurant, 32 E Front St., Drummond
Not only is Parkers' known for having some of the best burgers in the state, but many of them are enormous. And with well over 100 varieties to choose from, you're sure to find whatever you're craving on the menu.
2. Nap's Grill, 200 W. Main St., Hamilton
Located in downtown Hamilton, this has been the go-to spot for a juicy burger in the Bitterroot for almost 20 years. They're known for big burgers that just happen to be exceptionally delicious.
3. Roadhouse Diner, 613 15th St., Great Falls
The burgers here are fresh, piping hot, and perfectly prepared. No wonder so many Montanans love going to Roadhouse Diner.
4. Backcountry Burger Bar, 125 W. Main St., Bozeman
Bozeman's Backcountry Burger Bar serves locally sourced, sustainable, made from scratch food in a casual setting. Their burgers are piled high with perfect toppings, and for just $2 more, you can make yours a double.
5. Missoula Club, 139 W. Main St., Missoula
It doesn't get better than savoring a hearty burger at Missoula Club (or Mo Club, as it's affectionally called). This local icon is loved by Montanans statewide.
6. Thirsty Turtle Burgers & BBQ, 37 McLeod St., Big Timber
Big Timber is a small town, but this local eatery is a big hit. The BBQ here is unreal, but nothing tops their good old-fashioned burgers.
7. 2K's Cafe, 406 3rd Ave. S., Great Falls
The burgers at 2K's are legendary, and they're definitely not small. This breakfast and lunch spot is open Monday - Saturday, and while everything on the menu is tasty, nothing beats the burgers.
8. MudMan Burgers, Columbia Falls, Whitefish, and Kalispell
MudMan Burgers are fantastic and enormous (although most of them aren't quite this impressively massive). Even better, all proceeds go towards PFM missions work in Kenya, Uganda, Cambodia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and local work on the Blackfeet Reservation in Browning.
9. Best Burger, 8194 Huffine Ln., Bozeman
Best Burger is definitely appropriately named. This family-owned drive thru serves fresh burgers and fresh cut fries that are to die for.
