If you’re looking for the perfect spot to soak up the sun and to cool off during the summer, make your way to one of the beaches in Missouri that will make you swear you’re at the ocean’s shore. Long Branch State Park in Macon, for example, is home to a spacious, gorgeous sandy beach where you can drop your beach towel or prop up your beach chair. It also features a playground and beach volleyball nets. Moonshine Beach leads directly into the crystal clear waters of Table Rock Lake in Branson, providing an idyllic backdrop for a summer day. Go swimming in the lake. Scuba diving and boating are also popular at Table Rock Lake. Thousand Hills State Park in Kirksville also boasts a gorgeous sandy beach that leads into the sparkling Forest Lake.
