A Secret Paradise Awaits You On This Remote Mississippi Island And You'll Want To Visit

Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Daniella began to hone her writing skills through various internships. For many, a tropical getaway would require traveling out of state and possibly an expensive flight. Luckily, that’s not the case for us Mississippians. You see, less than a mile off the state’s coastline lays a desolate island, otherwise known as Deer Island.
