We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
If you love Mexican food, then Maria’s “Ocho-Cinco 5 lb Burrito Challenge” is for you! As you’ve probably already guessed, the challenge requires finishing off a huge burrito stuffed with lots of meat, beans, and vegetables. And while the meal isn’t free if finished in the 45 minute time limit, those completing the challenge will win $100 – more than enough to cover the cost of that monster burrito.
I don’t know about you, but just reading about these challenges practically put me in a food coma! Have you tried any of these or know of any other food challenges in Mississippi? Share your thoughts/comments below.
