A Small Restaurant In The Heart Of The Mississippi Delta, The Bluff Is Loved By Farmers, Hunters, And Everyone In Between
The Bluff, a small grocery and café in Holly Bluff, serves large portions of local and home-cooked favorites, making it a beloved spot for locals and travelers.
Small in size only, The Bluff is a beloved grocery and café that, for many, is a lifeline. It’s as "off the beaten path" as you can get. However, you’ll be happy you braved the trek, as the tiny eatery serves up big portions of everything from burgers to local dishes and home-cooked favorites. Take a look:
It’s extremely unlikely that you’d ever just stumble upon The Bluff (otherwise known as Junae's Grocery). The restaurant-café combo is tucked away in Holly Bluff, a small unincorporated community in the heart of the Delta.
Even if you did pass the small roadside shack, you probably wouldn’t be tempted to pull over. In fact, you’d probably wonder, “Who frequents such an out-of-the-way spot?”
And the answer is lots of folks!
For local hunters and farmers, it’s a staple shop and top lunch spot, as the next closest grocery is roughly 30 miles away. Passersby in need of a bite to eat stop in from time to time, too.
The tasty fare is as varied as the clientele. Burgers and sandwiches make up a large portion of the menu.
The menu also features several entrees, which include local favorites, like fried catfish, shrimp, frog legs, and hamburger steak.
And homemade classics, such as fried chicken and meatloaf, are offered in the form of daily specials.
Well, what do you think? Are you ready to seek out this Delta favorite? For more information, call The Bluff at (662) 828-3713. You can also visit the eatery’s Facebook page.

This isn’t the only eatery that’s small in size only. There’s actually a one-table restaurant here in the Magnolia State.
