This Beautiful 7-Acre Botanical Garden In Mississippi Is A Sight To Be Seen
Unlike typical gardens, botanical gardens feature a wide array of plants, which are labeled for easy identification. While we don’t have too many botanical gardens here in the Magnolia State, we do have a few. And one that definitely belongs on your bucket list is Mynelle Gardens. Spanning 7 acres, it includes a variety of colorful blooms, a pond, bridge, and more. Take a look:
Located in Jackson, Mynelle Gardens Arboretum and Botanical Center is open Monday through Saturday.
The incredible garden started off as the personal garden of Mynelle Westbrook Hayward, a Jackson native known nationally for flower arranging and gardening. Luckily, it was opened to the public in 1953 for all to enjoy.
