Head to the southern Minnesota city of Winona to check out a spot that, after over 80 years, still has cars lining up around the corner. Lakeview Drive Inn is a popular drive-in restaurant in Winona, Minnesota. Open since 1938, it's the oldest drive-in in Minnesota, and it still draws crowds more than 80 years later!

This is definitely the type of spot where you'll want to avoid taking your food to go. You can eat in your car or at one of the picnic tables near the restaurant. Either way, it's fun to take in the upbeat, welcoming atmosphere as you eat.

As for the food, Lakeview Drive Inn specializes in diner staples. You cannot go wrong with a burger, and there are about a dozen on the menu. A classic cheeseburger is always a great option, or you could try the Toddy burger, topped with lettuce and a special sauce. Yum! Alongside a pile of fries - or better yet, cheese curds - this is a delicious meal.
