Hike Through Massachusetts’ Rock Maze For An Adventure Like No Other

There are plenty of places to adventure in Massachusetts, especially since this state is so rich in natural beauty. However, this little-known park is actually hiding a unique outdoor experience. You can actually wander over beautiful paths and through a maze of boulders at Natural Bridge State Park.

Natural Bridge State Park is located in North Adams and is a true outdoor paradise for adventurous hikers.

The park is named for its natural bridge of white marble, which is the only one of its kind in North America.

If you have a few hours to spare, you can plunge into this park’s winding maze of cliffs, boulders, and smooth marble boulders.

This place was once a quarry, which makes winding your way through the abandoned mining paths especially thrilling.

The hiking here is spectacular but relatively quick — exploring the whole chasm will only take you over about a quarter-mile of terrain.

The bridge actually spans the gurgling Hudson Brook and crosses over a steep 60-foot gorge.

Parking is $5 for Massachusetts residents and $10 for non-residents.

You couldn’t ask for a cooler place to get pleasantly lost in nature.
