To find the hidden fairy garden, head to historic Pettengill Farm in Salisbury on May 6 and 7, 2017. There, you'll be invited to wander through lush gardens to an enchanted forest dotted with the most intricately designed and beautifully decorated fairy homes you'll ever see. Exploring this fairy garden is very affordable at $5 per person, so there's no reason not to bring the whole gang.

Many of the tiny homes are hiding behind shrubs or tucked away in clearings, while others are built into the very trees and stumps of the forest. Miniature underthings hang on little clotheslines, wee dinner tables are set with fairy-sized plates and treats, and small gardens are filled with a variety of enchanted crops. The homes truly look as if they were built by fairies and gnomes out of whatever woodland scraps they could scrounge up.

There are over 150 fairy and gnome houses to discover on this 1-mile round-trip walk through the forest and marsh. Obviously, this is an event well-suited to children, but the older set is bound to appreciate the loving care and creativity that has been poured into each tiny abode. The homes are created by local artists and businesses, as well as families and school children.

In addition to the stroll through the enchanted woods, the event will have Tracy Kane reading from her Fairy House series in the woods. Theater in the Open will be performing improv amongst the trees, professional photographers will be capturing priceless moments, free kids' crafts will be available and plenty of vendors will be on-site selling delicious fairy treats and unique gift items.
