A big hit on the playground is the erupting volcano. Kids can climb in a slide out on the lava flow.
The volcano theme was selected as a small nod to the town's name. The town was named Herculaneum by founder Moses Austin in honor of the ancient cities in Italy. Thus, the mini Mount Vesuvius was erected.
Swings at Kade's Playground were designed so that those with physical limitations can be cradled in the comfortable swing base without the fear of falling out.
There are items to help promote sensory development like musical instruments for sound and bright colors for sight. There is also an American Sign Language display board that shows the hand shapes for each letter of the alphabet.
Your kids will feel on top of the world at this incredibly unique park.
