The Best Sight In The World Is Actually A Road Sign That Says Welcome To Louisiana

Welcome to Louisiana. Oh, what a beautiful phrase! It means you’ve arrived in the land of delicious food, incredible people, mesmerizing landscapes, and so much more. There’s just nothing like it, no other state even comes close.

When you've been driving for hours and finally come across the "Welcome to Louisiana" sign, you can finally breathe a sign of relief.

Whether you come back through Texas, Mississippi, or Arkansas, it's such a welcome sight to see.

Have you ever driven through it? It's a streetlight! So often, we are going 70 MPH on the highway when we enter a new state, it's a bit of a shock when you find yourself at a four-way stop, with Louisiana in front of you and Arkansas behind you.
If you find yourself driving from Dallas to Shreveport often, then you're very familiar with the I-20 welcome sign.
