Nestled against the shores of the beautiful Kincaid Lake, Tunk’s Cypress Inn & Oyster Bar is a charmingly rustic restaurant that will steal your heart.
E.A. "Tunk" Andries, Jr. began construction in 1977, and after nine long months, the doors opened in March of 1978 and it has been a local favorite ever since.
From the beautiful landscaping to the cozy cabin vibes, everything about this restaurant will make you feel right at home.
Be sure to swing by during crawfish season, because Tunk's crawfish is incredible.
You can find Tunk’s Cypress Inn & Oyster Bar at 9507 Highway 28, Boyce, LA 71409. It’s located just outside of the Alexandria/Pineville area. The restaurant is open for dinner on Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and for lunch from on Wednesday through Friday and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
