E.A. "Tunk" Andries, Jr. began construction in 1977, and after nine long months, the doors opened in March of 1978 and it has been a local favorite ever since.
From the beautiful landscaping to the cozy cabin vibes, everything about this restaurant will make you feel right at home.

You can find Tunk's Cypress Inn & Oyster Bar at 9507 Highway 28, Boyce, LA 71409. It's located just outside of the Alexandria/Pineville area. The restaurant is open for dinner on Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and for lunch from on Wednesday through Friday and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
