This Restaurant In New Orleans Used To Be A Gas Station And Now Serves The Most Amazing Food Around
Cowbell is a unique restaurant in New Orleans known for its eclectic menu and vibrant atmosphere, housed in a former gas station.
As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. When this particular restaurant opened in 2010, they could have changed the appearance of the gas station that it once was, but that would have taken away the funky atmosphere that this place is known for. From burgers to tacos and extraordinary mac & cheese, this is one restaurant everyone needs to check out.
You’ll find Cowbell over on Oak Street, at the corner of Oak and Eagle Street.
Opened in 2010, Cowbell took over an old gas station, adding a unique atmosphere you just don’t come across everyday.
You’ll be blown away by the bright colors, and the overall energetic atmosphere when you walk in.
There’s also an outdoor area for those wishing to dine al fresco.
The menu is an eclectic mix of burgers, tacos, and steaks, all made with the freshest ingredients.
Unique combinations build bold flavor profiles that will make your taste buds explode.
Pictured above is their BBQ Steak with grilled asparagus, their signature mac & cheese, a mountain of onion rings and their housemate BBQ sauce.
Be sure you get an order of their famous mac & cheese for starters.
You can get their signature style, or step it up a notch with their crawfish mac & cheese. Yum!
And their burgers are legendary.
Grass-fed burgers on a toasted potato roll dressed to your liking and served with their signature agogo sauce. This might just be the best burger in town, yall.
