For Over 30 Years, Brigsten’s Has Been A Culinary Landmark For New Orleans

New Orleans is blessed to have so many restaurants that have stood the test of time. There are several iconic restaurants that have been around well over a hundred years, continuing to delight locals and tourists year after year. While Brigsten’s hasn’t been around that long, they have certainly made their mark on the culinary landscape of New Orleans, and they show no signs of slowing down.

Tucked away in the Riverbend neighborhood of Uptown New Orleans, Brigsten’s has been a time-honored tradition for many New Orleanians.

Frank Brigsten opened the restaurant in 1986 after many years at Commander’s Palace and K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen.

After the end of a memorable meal, be sure to cap it off with one of their incredible desserts. Both their pecan pie and bread pudding are some of the most popular items on the menu.
