Louisiana has a seemingly endless list of state and city parks that make for an excellent outing, but this particular park is practically perfect in every way and it absolutely comes alive every spring. Bring your family and four-legged friends, because there’s something for everyone at this lesser-known park in northern Louisiana.
Tucked away in West Monroe, Kiroli Park might just be the best-kept secret in the Bayou State.
Admission is only a dollar per person and it’s worth every penny!
Established in 1980, this northern Louisiana park features 150 acres of unparalleled natural scenery and playgrounds.
There are multiple play areas for kids of all ages and abilities, making this one of the most unique and inclusive parks in the state.
Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to relax or a fun-filled family adventure, Kiroli Park is just the place.
The amenities at this park are endless. There are tennis courts, an outdoor theater, a conservatory, picnic areas, a dog park, and so much more.
There are also numerous trails that are perfect for an afternoon stroll.
Most of the trails are about a mile long and will lead you through some beautiful scenery.
The Garden Trail is just shy of a mile and is an absolute must this spring.
You’ll stroll through Azalea Hill and the Welch Gardens.
You'll want to bring your camera - this place is super picturesque.
The perfectly landscaped gardens truly come alive in the springtime and the rows upon rows of tulips are simply mesmerizing.
After your walk, hang out in the hammock village.

The youngest visitors will love Pappadeaux’s Playground.
Opened in spring of 2018, this playground is specifically designed for kids from age 6 months to 4 years old.

The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and admission is only $1.00 per person.
