This Little Known Park In Louisiana Comes Alive Every Spring
Louisiana has a seemingly endless list of state and city parks that make for an excellent outing, but this particular park is practically perfect in every way and it absolutely comes alive every spring. Bring your family and four-legged friends, because there’s something for everyone at this lesser-known park in northern Louisiana.

There are multiple play areas for kids of all ages and abilities, making this one of the most unique and inclusive parks in the state.
The amenities at this park are endless. There are tennis courts, an outdoor theater, a conservatory, picnic areas, a dog park, and so much more.
Most of the trails are about a mile long and will lead you through some beautiful scenery.
You’ll stroll through Azalea Hill and the Welch Gardens.
The perfectly landscaped gardens truly come alive in the springtime and the rows upon rows of tulips are simply mesmerizing.
Curl up with a good book and enjoy the cool breeze beneath the towering pines. Sounds delightful, right?
Opened in spring of 2018, this playground is specifically designed for kids from age 6 months to 4 years old.
Each of the four playgrounds is specifically designed for different age levels, so no matter how old your kids are, they'll have a blast here.
The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and admission is only $1.00 per person.
