One of Louisiana’s oldest protestant churches, the church was constructed in 1860. Three years after it was built, it took some serious damage during the Civil War and was repaired in 1893. Be sure to check out the organ during your visit - it dates back to 1860!

The gardens have a special place in St. Francisville’s heart. Originally, there was a house here that dated back to 1849, but unfortunately, it burned down in 1963. The land sat abandoned and neglected for about a decade until Genevieve Trimble, who often admired the property from a distance on her drive from New Orleans to Natchez, decided to do something about it.
