The 185-acre park may not be the biggest state park in Louisiana, but it just might be the prettiest.

Since the park is nestled along the shores of Vermilion Bay, you can fish from the 100-foot pier or take your boat out into deeper waters.

Nothing like spending a day on the open water!

The half-mile stretch of beach is just perfect for a day of fun in the sun. Kids will love building sandcastles and splashing around in the water.

Since you'll end up loving the park so much, you'll want to spend a few days there.

The sunsets here are incredible.

We can't think of a more perfect day!
