With 21 state parks, Louisiana is just overflowing with beautiful natural scenery that’s just waiting to be explored. While it’s hard to choose our favorite state park in Louisiana, Jimmie Davis State Park sure comes close to the top, and we think it would make the ideal spot to sneak away to for endless adventures this summer. Let’s check it out:
If you love spending your days surrounded by water, then you’ll love Jimmie Davis State Park.
Located in Chatham, this northern Louisiana slice of paradise is nestled along the beautiful Caney Lake, a 5,000-acre reservoir that provides endless activities.
