Follow This Louisiana Boudin Trail For An Epic Food Road Trip
If you love boudin, this is the road trip for you. We’ve found some of the best places in the state to get your boudin fix. All of these places have their own recipes, serving up the best, most mouth-watering boudin you’re sure to love.
To keep this road trip fairly short, we concentrated this trip to the central LA area, the heart of Cajun Country who prides themselves on dishes like boudin.
1. Leonard’s Food Quarters

4. Ronnie’s Boudin & Cracklin House
You’ll love the food as much as the atmosphere at this friendly, down-home restaurant. Featuring generous portions and five types of boudin, 16 kinds of sausage, and mouth-watering BBQ, there’s a reason it’s one of the best places to get Boudin in Baton Rouge.

8. Johnson’s Boucaniere
Located in downtown Lafayette, Johnson’s Boucaniere uses recipes from Johnson’s Grocery which was located in Eunice (which opened in 1937). Their recipes have stayed the same all these years, and you’ll love the friendly atmosphere and delicious food.
