The Underrated Sandy Beach In Kentucky You Absolutely Need To Visit
Hopefully, by now you realize that Kentucky is home to many beautiful bodies of water and even several picturesque beaches. We don’t have oceans, but we make up for it with scenic lakes that are surrounded by rocky shores, mountains, and thick forests. Several of these lakes, especially those that are a part of the Kentucky State Parks system, have created wonderful sandy beaches that are perfect for a summer day. One such beach can be found at Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park in Eastern Kentucky, not far from Hazard. This underrated sandy beach is ideal for relaxing, playing, and soaking up the sun, and you absolutely need to visit.
