If you enjoy taking the backroads, Kentucky is such a wonderful place to spend your time. You can hop in your car, on a motorcycle or bike, and head out for a scenic ride through rolling hills, farmland, mountains, rocky tunnels, and more. Just outside of Lexington, the scenic route along Old Frankfort Pike and Pisgah Pike is a drive every Kentuckian should take. West of Lexington and Georgetown, amongst towns like Midway and Versailles, you'll find the rolling hills of horse country.

This area is filled with expansive horse farms, stone fencing, and historic properties that seem too perfect to be real.
In fact, when you stumble upon these roads, you almost feel like you're not supposed to be there since they are so well-groomed and idyllic.

Along sections of Old Frankfort Pike and the shorter Pisgah Pike, you'll find grazing horses, wide-open spaces, beautiful barns, and some extravagant properties, hidden by fencing and lush trees.
The farms throughout this area are well-known by those familiar with racing and make up Kentucky's version of Hollywood Boulevard.
