South of Louisville, in the town of Shepherdsville, is the appropriately named Awesome Lazy River. It is located right off the highway and is on the same property as the popular Awesome Flea Market. You can rent a tube for one, or many, and sit back and relax for a day of fun. And as the name Awesome Lazy River suggests, it’s the best lazy river in Kentucky.
