Hidden within a lovely Greenhouse in a bustling area of Lexington, Kentucky Native Cafe is the restaurant you didn't know about but will quickly fall in love with.
Once you park in the adjacent parking lot, you'll meander into the garden and feel as if you've stumbled upon a secret cafe. Michler's Florist, Greenhouse and Garden Design is the name of the actual business that runs the cafe, and it makes for the most beautiful setting for this one-of-a-kind dining spot.
The cafe is set up in the middle of a garden setting and has a laid back feel.
After you order from their always changing, fresh menu, you can grab a seat at one of the many large tables. There are smaller round tables with umbrellas and long, biergarten style options for large groups.
You pick up your food and drinks from a counter, which keeps the cafe casual and very affordable.
The menu varies with what is fresh, but there are always a number of salads and sometimes a sandwich or two. They also offer a few desserts, as well as draft lemonade and fruit spritzers.
The cafe feels like both a quaint garden cafe and a lively biergarten.
